Aloe Vera is one of the oldest known medicinal plants. The Greek doctors used it in their prescriptions. The Egyptians used it for beauty care and embalming. Aloe Vera ( Barbadensis Miller ) is a cactus like plant growing in the warmer climates of the world. It is infact a member of the lily/onion/asparagus plants.
